After the mass exodus of people selling their corollas, I was wondering if anyone on here still had their car from new - other than me!

I bought it in 2006 and still have it.

Had mine a little over a year now, love it to bits but I keep finding myself looking at Glanza's for sale :fear:

I'm not sure why so many are bailing out - they're superb motors! Practical as well - I had 3 metre lengths of timber in mine yesterday

Look at it this way, they've bailed out, I (and I'm sure a good few others) have bailed in!

'tis the constant churn of car ownership.

Yep i got mine from new, Monday 2nd September 2002 about 9.30am from Inchcape Derby

Got through about 4sets of tyres, and just about the same amount of brake pads as well, few brake discs to boot, and a little bit of a replacement engine as i blew a big hole in the original engine block :yahoo:

Covered currently about 83K miles, too many scratches to mention :censor: and only been in 1 minor accident which had a replacement driver side fron wing and front bumper respray.

Other than the usual wear and tear, still going very well, but always on the look out for a replacement just in case

Bing

I've had my D4D 2 litre from new in Dec 2004.

Still going strong at 68k & no problems apart from needing the glowplugs replaced twice.

Had my E12 from new (September 2005). Fabulous car. Just usual wear and tear (tyres, Wiper Blades etc). For a mass production car it is very well built and the quality of the interior is way way better quality than the Auris that replaced it. Keeping mine :)

Here's what I've been through

1. Headlight (hit a pheasant), it was okay but started to fog up

2. MAF sensor

3. Water Pump

4. The undertray had to be re-riveted - I did a much better job than Toyota did from the factory LOL!

5. Tyres and Brakes

6. Brake slider pins

My rolla's had usual brakes, tyres, wipers etc andddd:

1) New front axle + alloy wheel - my fault, took a roundabout too fast :/

2) New window regulator, full on snapped!!

3) New numberplate (just ordered now) due to degradation.

Must admit compared to my old fiesta this is a !Removed! well built piece of kit!

totally love my car :)

I could list all the faults mine had but there's alot!

considering the car was 13 years old when I got it, it wasn't bad but it actually got to a point where I was having to replace the clutch cable on a monthly basis. :/
