I parked my IQ in the drive yesterday morning only to find the windscreen cracked from the drivers side half way over today.

A little odd I thought as it hasnt moved and nothing has been near it.There is no visable mark on the screen at all like a chip or puncture mark and the crack seems to have originated inside the Black trim.

The car was facing south in to the sun and yesterday was unseasonably warm at 22oC as this is the only thing I can think off that caused this.

Is it worth telling Toyota about this ?

My insurance will cover this but the £75 excess is something I can do without just now.

Has anyone had anything similar with the iQ?
