Help Re Wheel Sizes

I have a previa 2.4 on an L plate - I have a set of 14 inch wheels and tyres at the moment and the car is rolling around the road when I hit 100 KMH - 60 mph

Does anyone know what size I should buy please - as I am in Northern Spain and they don't sell Previas here.

Any help greatly appreciated!

It may not be all that you need to change, but here is a site that recalculates the dimensions of wheel/tyre combinations to ensure that the overall circumference doesn't change too much - meaning that your speedometer still reads the correct speed +/- 5%

Tyre size calculator

Please note that the tyres listed by this program may not actually exist - you will need to go to the nearest actual size.

You might also check the conditions of your shock absorbers, and the tyre pressure.

Hi Yannick

Thanks for that - what I am trying to find is simply what size fits - the tyres I have are the wrong size - they are 14 inch - and the minimum is 15 i just don't know the rest of the dimensions

I am not trying to change the size of the tyres simply find the standard size and put it back on!

Ah, I see. What year is an L plate? I forget exactly.

14" was the standard size for some versions of the Previa at the time. You can of course fit aftermarket 15" if you think that it will help, or find some second-hand Toyota ones from a higher trim level.

If you choose after market ones you'll need to check the offset and the number & spacing of the bolts. The MPV forum might be able to help you a bit more...
