Sorry to come back on this but having just acquired a Used "09" Avensis TR , I have hit the problem of my Nokia 6300 disconnecting as soon as I try to contact someone outwards.

When I switch on and start the engine etc , the message comes up " bluetooth successful". As soon as I try to dial out the message comes up "bluetooth disconnected" and the message " check your phone".

The phone is fine and I have gone thru the bluetooth connection procedure loads of times. The very odd thing about it is that when I first got the car (about 5/6 weeks ago and the garage set it

up. it was fine and has worked perfectly well since then.

It has only just decided " not to work since 2 days ago. Ironically my wife's Nokia 6300 works fine but having just loaded that on to the car system, am I to expect that to "conk out" in another 4 weeks or so as well?

The question to you fellow "Toyota Avensis custodians" is why is this happening and when it happened before did anyone find the solution.

Help .....please.

i will add a postscipt to my "plea for help" above. It is when I press the "Telephone" icon on the Sat Nav Screen in order to make a call is when the message comes up " bluetooth disconnected"

By the way, I cannot receive calls either on this phone thru the Car Sat Nav system. My actual phone rings if someone is ringing me but it does not come thru the a car system.

As I said in the original Post, I have just put my wife's Nokia 6300 on to the car system and that works fine...... but for how long , who knows.

I just can't figure out why it works for a period of 4/5 weeks and then conks !

Please respond if you have had the same problem and even more so if you have a solution. This Avensis is causing one or two problems which I could well do without !!!!!!

Cheers chaps.

I had to come back yet again as I have solved the problem. There was a hiccup in the logging on to the system of 2 phones and I had failed to accurately identify by name, each of the phones. Thus the system was not able to recognise the relevant phone.

Anyway Panic over.
