Lowering Spring Rates

Hey guys, was just about to order the usual APEX lowering kit when i noticed a couple of posts on here about how much the lowering will differ on fl and pfl models compared to what the manufacturer says.

I have a 2007 facelift SR, and im ordering 30mm drop APEX springs; http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/product_info.mhtml?product=555670447

or the FK springs for a slightly different stance: http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/category_results.mhtml?category=fksprings&car=toyotacorolla&manufacturer=fksuspension&sub_category=1

But I wont order them if they only drop it 15mm. Which i could do with a full tank of petrol. :P

Can anyone clear this up?

Also while im asking, can anyone suggest a nice set of mats? :)

If yours is a facelift then it was lower by 15mm than the original pre-facelift, so it will only lower it another 15mm.

The mm drop claimed on the springs by the manufacturer is in reference to the PFL (on all springs I'm aware of anyway)

I might be wrong but this is my understanding of it

Car mats is a personal choice, so go for what appeals to you ;)
