Hi hows it goin? Im just after buying a levin bzr 97 n am looking to modify it in any way. Im not reli sure what are the best modification for it. I was told that a mushroom air filter is best fr it? Also what coilovers are best for it?? I wud appreciate any advise thanks.

it depends on what you are after and how deep your pockets are. you could always start with the basics in modifying, free up some horses by changing the exhaust system, header, and possibly by adding a performance filter like the mushroom filter. but beware, a lot of people say this will loose you power as it draws in a lot of hot air from the engine. ways around this would be fabricating a heat shield, introducing a cold air feed, or get a TOMS super air intake which is rare as hens teeth. saying that, if you look hard enough you might find people that make replicas.

an Arc-induction box is meant to be very effective too, especially for low down power.

that i would say is your basic modification you could do without going into the nitty gritty stuff. if you got deep pockets perhaps changing your cams to a more aggressive one, bigger pistons, turbo, engine swap, the list is absolutely endless!

is your car superstrut or 'normal' strut? if normal i would recommend BC coilovers, i've heard nothing but good things about them! if superstrut then you would need a small mortgage to buy a set, thats if you can find a set of coilovers in the first place! a good place to start would be RHDjapan.com, greenline.jp nengun.com
