Replacing Rear Seat Belt

Hi, My father in law's dog has chewed through the rear passenger side seat belt of his 2008 yaris. We have bought a replacement as it should be straight forward. However I am concerned that removing the top section of trim in the boot to get to the old seatbelt will set off an airbag. Should I be worried? How do we do a swap ? Thanks chew
