Coilovers/ Adjustable Dampers + Springs On My E11 Rolla.

Hi Guys'

Need a little help, I have started to notice a little tyre rub on the back left of my precious rolla. I currently have the original suspension set up ane believe has started to soften with age and i dont think having 17's helps they dont leave alot of room ;) Does anyone know a fairly cheap way to solve this problem, I was thinking of treating her to either adjustable dampers or even coilovers however they are not cheap! and not to easy to find either.

What are your tyre settings mate? Perhaps a lower (if that's possible) profile tyre would work out? I love this link some kind user on here posted: http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator.htm

Coilovers will take it down, not up won't they so more of a problem for you!

I got 205/45/R17 at the moment, thinking behind the coilovers was to stiffen things up abit ;)

Im hoping that would work as its only on one side which would make the tyre sizes ok i think, im no expert though :(

Hmm, just on one side is worrying - is the shock absorber on that side nackered do you think? Got to be worth someone checking them out for safety sakes.

Its just flew through its MOT so would hope these would be included, however I am planning the coilovers tomorrow all the way from germany. After looking into it further it seems the tyre has been hittin the bottom of the spring housing if that's what its called lol, just strange as only one side hopefully the coilovers will fix this if not maybe a few spacers may help.

What u rekon should be next on the list of things to do? I was thinking about a brake system upgrade before an engine transplant depending what monster I could fit in her 4efte seems the common swap but sourcin parts is proving difficult :( and very expensive!

Any ideas?
