Someone Decided My Wing Mirror Would Suit Their Car More

Just gone to drive my car to see the wing mirror hanging down the side of it broken up....

The power wires and main Shell are still there (broken) but someone has taken my mirror, all the motors and the colour back panel bit of my off side (drivers) mirror ... Where can I get a replacement from?! Also looks like I may need a trip to the sparred as they took a pretty brutal aproach to kicking the mirror off leaving some bad straches and scuffs around the mirror area...

Not in a good mood!!!!!

FFS.

Its scum like this that need a good kicking.

A scrappie might be the best place to get a wing mirror. I think if you go to Toyota they will want £150 for a wing mirror. Thats off the top of my head so don't take it as gospel.

I best get on the phone to some scrappys in my lunch!

The fact they stole the mirror and the motor I can just about understand if they couldnt afford one (stills annoys me)

It's the fact they took such a rough approach to removing it that upsets me... If it was just a mirror unit I can live with having to buy a new one, but I spend hours cleaning my car and keepin the paint work spotless and now it's got a load of scratches and scuffs all round the mirrors mount, on the wheel arch and somehow on the pillar up to the roof, so god knows what they done to break it off...

Sorry to hear that mate, I know exactly how you feel, you can live with the stolen mirror but all the extra damage done to the paint work is what is most annoying.

Someone stole my side repeaters, that I could live with but instead off just unplugging the simple connectors they yanked the loom off and I had to remove the wheel arch liners and solder in new wires/connectors.

Brain dead scum

Hi mate

My sympathies to you mate...i will NEVER forget that Thursday morning i stepped outside to get into my beloved baby and found her not keyed...but more like stanley knifed down the rear passenger door...my heart literally sank...if your like me that could spend days polishing my car without getting bored...then the pain's even worse for us!

I really hope you get your bodywork sorted...learn from my mistake...no matter what it costs...pay what it takes and hopefully you'll receive a perfect result...unlike me i bargained with the painter and i sure got nothing but hell..and still on-going 5 months later.

Takecare...

As a rough guide when mine got clipped by an old git in a Clio, Toyota quoted £250.... but that's for an electric heated mirror
