hello,

i am thinking about to add LED DRLs. Is it possible to program the light switch that way, that on the OFF position will the low beam and back lights be OFF?

if not, is there possible a hardware modification?

i was asking in the toyo service, but the man doesnt seem that he was competent to talk to it. i know that on VW it is possible to do it.

You can use a simple relay to switch off drl's when the main lights are switched on.

ok, there are the functions (probably another than you have in UK)

OFF (default) - low beam ON (and back light also)

Parking lights - parking lights

ON - low beam on (with possibility to switch on high beam)

i think that the OFF position should switch off all the lights, but they have reprogrammed it because of restrictions in my home country (all day ligts on during autumn, winter and spring).

so my task is to change OFF position from low beam (and backlights?) ON to low beam (and backlights?) OFF;

and than mount the DRLs (task for later, i have an rough idea how to do it)

how do you have it in UK? the same way, or the lighs during the car is started lighs up on the OFF position?
