When does the vsc light come on and when what is the othe light for ,,abs or some thing? Dont have the hand book incase you ask,

The VSC light comes on when you start the car, then goes off if all is well, and also comes on when you manage to get the vehicle to lose traction (accompanied by a beeping noise).

'the other light' as you call it could be anything at all.
