Hi all. I have recently purhased a 1997 Carina e 1.8si auto. I can't pretend that I went out looking - it sort of came my way when my car went pop and I needed some cheap wheels! However - i've got to say i'm really impressed with the car and I find myself looking forward to driving again!

For the year everything pretty much works. Just one prob though - the rev counter stopped working the other day for no apparent reason. Does anyone have any ideas? I've had a look in behind the clocks and the everything in there is fine.

Any help greatly appreciated.
