Changing Avensis Side(Parking) Light

Hi All'

I have a 2006 Avensis and need to change offside side light but cant release the damn bulb. Both my son and I have tried.

Any ideas!!!

Gooli, not sure that's the light that he means.

Portminster, if it's not & you mean the front side lights than I wanted to change the bulbs on mine for something brighter but neither myself or a friend could shift either.

Irrespective the good news is that if you buy the OEM bulb from a Toyota dealer they will change it for free.

If you mean the parking light bulb fitted into the headlamp assembly it releases by turning the holder anti-clockwise a quarter turn and pull backwards and then pulling out the bulb forward from the holder.

Gooli thanks for taking the trouble to reply, but it isnt the indicator bulb thats the problem.

Fitter, tried that but couldnt get hold of the lamp holder to turn it, both my son and I tried. Need smaller hands I think!! but thanks anyway.

Heidfirst, sounds like a plan. Will pop to my local dealer and have a word.
