Toyota Recalls

Hi Folks...

I have a sneaky suspicion that there was a recall for front lower ball joints on the 3rd Gen Hilux Surf (KZN-185)

What is the best way to check if my vehicle is an eligible, B been done or not.

I know there is a number for UK cars, are they likely to be as helpful with an import?

Cheers.

Toyota Customer relations are on 0844 701 6202 and can tell you if there are any recalls outstanding on your car if you give them the VIN.

If you remember Mitsubishi replaced all my rear suspension arms for free on my Evo4 under a recall even though i brought it in from Japan into the UK as a grey imported used car. But Mitsubishi UK Dealers are happy to service Grey Imports... unlike Toyota UK Dealers :( So i'd be surprised that you'd get any recalls done on an import.

Worth a try I guess!!

Would be nice to not have to pay for new ball joints, but probably too good to be true!

For the sake of the search engine...

the number above doesn;t cover inports,

You need to call customer relations on 01737 367 600.

They will take some details and get back to you "in 3-4 weeks"
