How about a last of the old shape E-Class Mercedes, E220 CDI / or even a higher mileage E320 CDI Auto. Elegance or Avantgarde is what you want leave the Classic alone.

These 3 are pretty good.

The black one is high mileage, but not too bad value. Out of the 2 granite sky ones, I'd go for the lower mileage (not even broken in!).
