Coming Back To A Yaris!

I got rid of my Yaris 3.5 years ago, since then I got a ford puma. 3.5 years later it looks like I'll be returning to the fold!

Been looking a little sporty cars, like a smart roadster, copen, even an mr2 (which felt too big for me).

So last night I was looking in my local area and a 2002 t sport came up. Low mileage, in my budget, black, really well kept.

Had a look today, looks great, hopefully I'll take it for a spin tomorrow on my lunch break. They were closing just as I turned up.

Quite excited as I always looked at them with envy when I had my old blue w reg.

On paper it's quicker than my 1.6 puma.

My question is do they have the same led display as my old w reg, or did they change the t sport.

I've seen some vids on YouTube and it looks like they have dials in the same space, though they could be mods.

Anyway, really excited at the prospect of having a yaris again, will report back after a test drive!

No you're right; The Mk1 T-Sport has dials instead of the digital dash :)

Yes white dials instead of digital in the t sport. I have them and a spare 1 incase anything goes wrong with it. The phase1 Yaris t sport clocks go to 130 and the phase 2 goes to 140.

Welcome back! I'm on my second Yaris, this time a black one. I love the digital dash, reminds me of an F1 car (minus a few hundred BHP lol). I'm surprised you found the MR2 too big, the MKIII is pretty small like the MKI  You made the right choice regarding the Copen they're really !Removed! and the body flexes, girl across the road from me swapped her MR2 for one... don't ask.
