Hi

I have bought this car and it is a good car.

But, the front lights is very bad. There is no xenon lights on this car.

Do you have any easy ideas how to get better lights on this car?

Thank you.

The Avensis 2003+ is notorious for poor lights. One of the problems I found is that they are set too low. I purchased some xenon filled bulbs (instead of the Halogen filled) with a blue tint from a motor accessory shop, this gave a white light and then I lifted the beams by turning the white plastic hexagon headed bolts on the back of the lights anti-clockwise. First make sure that the headlight adjuster on the dash is at zero and try loosening the afore mentioned bolt half a turn at a time. In the dark check that they are not blinding the driver in front.

Did the xenon filled bulbs make a difference?

Yes the lights are brighter and the blue tint gives a whiter beam. I find them quite good even on unlit roads
