Chipping The Ecu

I have seen on the "eBay" that there is a very inexpensive chip that will give 30% more power and torque for not a lot of outlay...anyone fitted this mod and will it damage the engine..or is there a company out these who will remap the engine properly....I am aware that the insurance company will have to be told but I need more power.

Secondly anyone fitted an aftermarket boot spoiler..either with bolts or silicone...and do you know anyone who can cover a few bits with carbon fibre faux film....any help always appreciated.

Is your yaris a diesel? if so good gains can be obtained from a simple remap

If its a naturally aspirated petrol, you probably wont gain anything

The "simple cheap" eBay solutions are a scam. Don't waste your money.

If you have a turbo, (and the only turbo Yaris is the diesel...) then a remap can give you a performance or economy boost at a reasonable price, but if you don't have a turbo then a remap is going to do very little (if anything) and really isn't worth doing.
