Oooo - I Got A Toyota!

Hi all

After a rather depressing experience of Jeep ownership, and six months of misery, the garage agreed to offer a replacement car instead. I got a phone call on Monday telling me he'd got a 'lovely little motor' which 'you will love' ... As the Jeep was on life support (Battery charger) with every major organ failing I agreed to try to get back to the garage to see what he was offering.

I arrived to find an N-reg Toyota Carina E awaiting me .. in a lovely green (he said blue ... perhaps turquoise) shade. Having not owned a Toyota before, and not being in a position to be fussy I accepted the exchange. I'm happy with my end of the deal. Been driving it around today and am really liking it!!

The garage on the other hand said they couldn't jump start the Jeep (which effectively died on their forecourt) and had to man handle it 'out the back' ... RIP Jeep. :(

But wahey to my new journey into Toyota ownership. :D

Looking forward to finding out more about you all and your cars. All offers of reassurance that my new Toyota will be good, reliable and spend more time on the road than off will be gratefully received!! After the Jeep I need a period of reliable motoring for a while!!

Oh ... and what are they like in snow?

Total novice to the Toyota brand / Carina E ... We've sort of been thrown together ... but looking forward to seeing where the road takes us :)
