Hi guys,
I have a 03 Avensis T Spirit D4D. The other day the engine magagment light came on with the VSC and the TRC lights also. I noticed that the lights went out when I put diesel into it but came back on a bit later. It seems to be running OK, not lumpy or anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

When the egine ecm triggers a fault the vsc and trc systems can no longer rely on its info so they both switch off operation resulting in theese warning lights comin on to alert the driver they are no longer operational but the cause lies in the engine ecm .get yourself a diagnostic ran or buy a scanner and post the fault code here
