Through browsing around the net I have for several references to the 3S-GTE (Beams) Black/Red Top. Do any of you guys have one of know about them. Thanks Guys.

Think thats 3S-GE . Its a normally aspirated VVTi engine that was fitted to the last Mk2 MR2(SW20) puts out around 200 hp. Its Toyotas equivalent of the honda V-tec i guess. They are also used in the Lexus IS200 i believe

yep celica has the red top, one for sale on fensports site at the moment.

Lexus has the blacktop engine.

the "Altezza" (Jap sports IS200) got the Black top .. it was mounted differently (FE - RWD) and had dual VVTi (intake and exhaust) .. 210bhp .. 2.0 liter NA ..
