Imported Sat Nav Problem

I have a 1999 Toyota Celica which was imported. The onboard sat nav is in Japanese and will be perfect to find way in Tokyo but not much use in the UK. Is it possible to buy a UK sat nav disc and put it into the cassette which is in the boot and use it in English?

Welcome to TOC. You will however find elsewhere that imported cars with Japanese radio and satnav equipment that have Japanese language as standard can NOT be changed ffor English.

You will have to change the head unit.

As above, NO, you cannot get a UK disc to work in those Jap units
