I wanted to know if you could read through obd OIL presssure and temperature.

Fairly sure you can get temp but not sure about oil pressure although it propbably can define low pressure.

Shcm is our electronics guru and will look in when he has soldered some atoms back together.

It's been quite a while since I had anything to do with the internals of engine management systems.

In theory there is an oil temperature PID:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OBD-II_PIDs

But as far as I can seen no oil temperature sensor on the 2.2D engine.

Oil pressure is just a switch, that goes straight to the instrument pack. So there will be no oil pressure info available, I would suspect.
