Hi all.

Just bought a little 1.0 1999 Yaris 2nd hand for my daughter. All fine until......

Put some fuel in on the way home. Drove a further 3 miles. Pulled up on the driveway & the Yellow engine light came on. Have I bought my little girl a pupp instead of a car????? :oops:

Hi Phil,

Welcome to the TOC, the light could of come on for many small reasons..

I would post it up in the Yaris section :)

If you literally just bought it, take it back and get them to fix it.

Yarisusues are generally pretty bullet-proof but like all cars if they aren't looked after they'll develop problems.

I do wonder what's tripped the light...?
