Hi can any one describe to me please after fitting the new belt how the tensioner and spring unit is adjusted on the Rav 3s fe engine? I was

looking at a man describing the whole operation and just as he was about to tell me what I had been longing to hear the video ran out of

time and I was none the wiser.I hope someone can help me.thanks Paul NZ.

Thanks for reply Don. It didn,t actually show what I was looking for.I can only guess that after new belt is fitted you loosen off no 1 idler pulley bolt and after allowing the spring to apply the correct tension you retighten the same bolt???

Are you looking in the right place?

Its this one;

TIMING BELT.pdf

You tighten the bolt after turning the engine but make sure it is tensioned on the clockwise turn and not when it rocks back.
