5-6 Times Start Up On My Avensis

Hiya I'm new to this forum, just let me thanks all you guys for all the brilliant advice I've been reading, great forum. Anyway my prob with my 2.0 d4d is that when i start it up it just dies, especially when its cold. Only when I've done it between 3-6 times does it start, and at first it takes a dip in revs before it idles ok, is it the access valves?

Have you changed the fuel filter? Are the glow plugs okay? EGR valve might need a clean?

Thanks, ill try the fuel filter, I cleaned the egen valve about 3000 miles ago, also il try to see if i can test the glowplugs. Although I'm starting to think it might be the injectors.......

If you think its the injectors then it might be worth running a tin of BG244 with the fuel! Or some V-Power derv...
