i have owned 4 corolla gti`s and i still drive one but i am thinking of a celica,

2.0 gt k-l reg

whats the economy like?

does it handle better in the wet than the corolla?

do they rust?

any help would be welcome

I've found the FWD celicas to be pretty good on the gas esp the autos but they (autos) are boring to drive. As far as handling goes they are more stable at speed having a longer wheelbase and being wider. The tails are heavier than the corollas which might catch u out in your "handling in the wet" situations.

i've got a jap import gt4 celica pop up lights, not very good on fuel but i tend to drive just a little fast, my brothers got a corrolla gti, the celica handling is much better in both wet and dry, it also feels alot safer to drive.

i say get the gt4, but don't make any sharp turns at high speed cos i nearly hit into 2 cars on the m40 as i lost control, the back end goes crazy if you lose it and its difficult to gain control if you lose it.
