Potential New Celice Seeker (gt4)

Hi,

New to the forum & need a bit of info from Celica owners.

I am considering a change of motor.

I currently drive a mint, blue Fiat coupe 20v turbo which I love to bits, however, it isn't the most practical of cars, and since my grilfriend drives an MX-3 we are stuffed when we need to shift stuff.

The stuff in question is typically mountain bikes.

So, I'm looking for a stunning looking, performance car that I can stuff at least 1 mountain bike in the back of, or failing that buy a decent Roof Rack for.

Anyone got any experiance of carting bikes aroung in celicas, good or bad?

Do I have to give up on sports cars and get an Essex tractor? :crybaby:

hey man, welcome to the club. hey you might think that the celica is small but it can and will fit your mountain bike. cause i have a 1987 celica and my mountain bike fit. all you need to do is put your back seats down, and it will fit easily, but you might have to make some adjustment to your seats.

Hi and welcome, my celica 1991 GTR has a huge boot, much bigger than I expected looking at it from the rear.

Ash.

yeah man they have generous boots. if you go the 4WD though the boot level is raised to accommodate the rear diff. but yeah i cart my mountain bike round in it with the seats folded down no problems. roof racks are prob no the best thing as the celica has no gutters as such and pillarless doors dont like metals brackets around the seals!!! but as long as your front wheel on your bike comes away you should be fine.
