I'm planning on swapping the 3SGTE into my fwd celica with the tranny from the 2nd gen. MR2, but I'm curious to know how strong it is. I've heard that toyos have the best transmissions. Also, does anyone know if the tranny is equipped with a LSD? Thanks.

You need the gearbox and drive shafts from an MR2 Turbo, I think on the early revisions L.S.D was an option but became standard from rev3 on. Check this out on the MR2 forum though. Just make sure the transmission you get has one.

more about the swap and the tranny? I've begun looking through the

other forums and I'd like to find some outside resources as well. Any
