If they are Toyota/franchised dealer fitted and not an aftermarket job, then surely if they don't "activate" when reverse is selected, it has to be a warranty fix?

Have they ever worked?

Hi does anyone know how to activate the rear parking sensors on the 2011 Toyota Yarris T Spirit?

Some parking sensor systems have a switch in the boot so they can be switched off whilst towing a trailor, not sure about the Yaris though but worth a look.
