The headlights dont seem bright enough on my Avensis. On Ebay they are selling sets which claim to be far superior to the standard bulbs fitted. Would you advise I get a new set or do Toyota do a brighter set??

I bought Xenon filled bulbs with a blue tinge at local motor parts dealer. These are not the Xenon Balast type, just repalcmants for the Halogen filled.. They give a briighter and whiter light. Cost about £20 a pair. I also lifted up the beams on the adjustment as they were set low even on the 0 setting.

Get some Osram Nightbreakers from any of the usual sources, very good replacement bulbs offering superb light

The Philips Xtreme Power/Vision bulbs are also very good.
My experience with my 2007 Avensis is that the light inside the beam area will improve dramatically but don't expect a big improvement in beam range (I suspect that this is a lens design issue).
