Autolock Driving Me Nuts

Hello,

Firstly, apologies for posting to a UK users group, I'm in Hong Kong but the local user groups are only in chinese and I don't speak/read it.

I have owned a 2012 Ractis Verso since the turn of the year (apparently the same as a Verso S in the UK) and the handy autolock feature is driving me nuts. I don't know how it works there, but here it autolocks all doors as soon as you put your foot on the brake.

This is especially handy as every time I stop the doors lock and I have to push the button to unlock them again.

I've asked at the dealers here about disabling the feature, but all they do is grin at me as if to say "oh yeah, that feature" then tell me it can't be disabled. Surely this isn't right!

So if any of you are in the know and can let me know of a special sequence to push using the tripa/b/reset buttons which will disable it, then I'll be eternally grateful. (I've read that many other toyota models have these hidden functions)

On the Verso S sold in the UK the auto lock feature functions as the car gets to approx 10 MPH and can be disabled through the central touch and go system menu

The system on my CVT automatic also allows the doors to unlock when P is selected on the gear selector

This can also be inhibited using the central touch and go menu

Not sure if your Ractis has this system

Good luck with getting it sorted out :)
