Mines a girl! Her name is Karis (Karis the Yaris!).

Had to be a girl (even though shes blue) as my last car was a boy (a silver Daewoo Matiz, his name was Dell)

I see her as my baby, if I ever had to get rid of her or she was stolen I'd be devastated as I chose her, shes to my spec completely and I think shes wonderful!

My boyfriend reckons the love I have for my car is wrong as he just sees his car as a car, but mine is more than a car to me....

NEENAW NEENAW! Men in white coats alert! Better go back to my padded cell me thinks :P :D

My boyfriend reckons the love I have for my car is wrong as he just sees his car as a car, but mine is more than a car to me....

Well i have got to agree with demonic angel . A car to me is just not a car. It's not wrong to say that you love your car. Next to a house and getting married it's the 3rd biggest investment which you will make in life. And it becomes kind of personal. You can generally find out what type of person the owner is by how well they maintain there car whether they are a tidy person or not. I like to keep my car in good nick as I'm really proud of my car and i always want to see it at it's best. So whats wrong with that. As for what sex it is i really haven't thought about that before.

Mine is an "It" otherwise know as "The Rust Bucket" :rolleyes:

I do have plans brewing to turn it back into a "She" :) But then it will be know as "The !Removed!" B)

EXACTLY same sentiment as Garrick cos "The !Removed!" (She) is being tempermental atm. But i can't stay mad at her 4 too long so it's back to a her. As for a name i still havent settled on one yet.

I would say my car is an "IT".

It could be a "He" because of the sheers scale of the thing, unlikely to be a "She" - unless its compared to a women that weighs almost two tonn's and has a face that looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp :lol:

Well, my wife says that as it was so hard to get the money, saving every little coin, working extra hours, its worthy the love i feel for her (Lady Carina). So she thinks (my wife) its not wrong to take care of her ( Lady Carina) as I do. Mostly for the great times we spent together (Lady Carina, my wife and me).

Fraid not Gordy - he drives a Peugeot 206!

Tried to get him to buy an MR2 and he was sooo close, but decided to resisit temptation! :unsure:

Yeah, may be...

But here the model is known as CORONA, so, as shes coming from UK, is a girl, I decided to call'er Lady Carina.

Others were called

Udy (Renault 11)

Mona (Renault 12 break)

Sabado (Renault 9)

Paquete (Fiat 128)

Bolita (Fiat 600)

Monito (Renault 12)

And The Green Arrow (Corolla AE101-Stolen 2 years ago..)

So thats imagination, dont you think?
