On top of the usuals, he will also change your brake fluid. Tell him not to do pollen/cabin filter.... buy one yourself and fit in minutes.

No, more than that on a 20k service. It should be transmission oil (transfer and rear axle) as well as the oil change. They will charge you extra for brake fluid and filters unless you get a service plus which will bump it to £299.

Don't be afraid to barter.

Just ask them exactly what you are getting for your money. As Kev says you can buy a cabin filter and an air filter and pop them in yourself. Ask them about the brake fluid but they should really do the clutch fluid as it is fed off the same reservoir. Tell them what you want to pay for then barter. They will usually have a go at competing with a local garage so wait for the price and then go lower or throw the brake fluid in etc.
