Need Some Help With Clutch

Hello guys, im new to the avensis club. I bought a 2004 d4d t spirit last week but it needs some work. There is one thing bothering me.There seems to be a very long clutch and by long i mean the length of release on the pedal until the biting point is achieved.Yesterday when I started the car and i pressed the clutch in there was a small vibration sent through the car and when i let off it stopped.There was also a small whistling noise coming from the car while driving but it only happened when the car reached roughly 2000rpm and the whistle followed the sound of the engine but that only happened for a minute or two then it went away.

Any help would be much appreciated guys

Usually the clutch bite being near the top indicates a worn clutch.

The whistle around 2000rpm will probably be the turbo. It could be as simple as a pipe connector somewhere leaking a small amount of air or as drastic as your turbo on the way out.

Have both things checked out by a mechanic, or if you bought it with a warranty take it back straight away.
