After recently buying a 2ltr T spirit petrol saloon on a 08 plate we have now bought a new labrador puppy. The reason I bought the petrol was because I've never owned a diesel and wanted to stay with the avensis as I enjoyed the reliability of my 53 plate I previously owned.

My first thoughts were to find a suitable t spirit petrol estate around the same age but all I keep seeing are diesels. I know through following the forum about head gasket issues and DMF's too. My max outlay at the mo would need to be my 08 petrol plus maybe a grand.

Are there any t spirit petrol estates around or should I look at other toyota a? I can live without leather seats but cruise and climate are a must.

Any suggestions gratefully received.
