Rear Window To Hood Seal?

Year 2000 MR S -ZZW30 - we've had for 6 years - sweet! We live in Malta - hot!! and the seal of the rear window to the hood has degraded & separated in the sun. Anyone used an effective sealant to repair please? Thanks.
