Need Name Of Specific Boys Comic From Late 60's/early '70'

There was a comic around in late 60's and early '70's (probably before and after those times, but that is when it was relevant for me) that combined stories and science/'how they did it' type topics, prob designed for the older teenager.

Don't think it really had any war stories like Victor or Wizard (?) did. Can't really recall what the stories where about, but I recall the non-fiction stuff it had (and I think the reason my mum agreed to buy it for my older brother, while I had to pay for my own blood and guts comics)

From this basic description anyone recall its name?

Look and Learn was a British weekly educational magazine for children published by Fleetway Publications from 1962 until 1982.

Hi David,

was it the "Eagle"? That had a central double page with very detailed 3D cut-away drawings of things like atomic submarines, jet engines, steam locomotives and the like. I was going through some old books at home a week or two back and found a 1960 publication that contained just these drawings. The comic was printed in colour on "shiny" paper starting ( I believe ) in 1950 and was still going strong at the time you mention.

Hi Mike,

two or three of the examples you found are in my book. This was the hey-day of the "Technical Illustrator" who produced this sort of drawing without the aid of a computer.
