Getting New Yaris On Tuesday

I have decided to change my 60 plate T2 yaris so I am getting an SR yaris on Tuesday. It is a 63 plate (November)2013 with delivery miles on it. I have a question , can anyone tell me the true MPG that I can expect when the engine has eased off a bit, also has anyone had any problems with this car. I was not sure if I should wait for the new Aygo or get another yaris. I have actually spent more than I meant to on the car but my wife fell in love with the SR as soon as she saw it.

Hi... well, my 1.33 Yaris T Sprirt (2013 62 plate with 17000 miles) returns about 46 mpg on average.. Can get high 55-59 mpg if careful on the motroway.

Enjoy your new car!

I had one for quite a while, the average was 44mpg, it was a CVT auto, I also had a manual, and it was the same MPG which was surprising

Thanks for everybody for all your replies, I was full of hope that I would get a little bit more MPG but I am still looking forward to getting it because it looks a really comfortable nice to drive car. Nobody has written of any faults with the SR so it looks as if it will be as reliable and give me as good service as my old 1 ltr Yaris. Thanks once again for your replies.

Your so right Raistlin, I don't pick the car up till tomorrow afternoon but I cant wait to take it for a drive. At least the weather forecast tomorrow says it should be nice sunny day. Unfortunately I am back work on Wednesday and then I have to work for 8 nightshifts in a row so I will make most of tomorrows drive.
