Hi guy's/girls when i bought my 2001 avensis vermont auto it came without owners hand book i was wondering if enyone can enlighten me as to what engine is fitted to my car i know its a 1.8 vvti an thats about it getting to my question what is the fast idel on my engine as starting from cold it jumps streight 1800rpm this results in the car jumping forward when selecting drive or a very audible metalic clunk when selecting reverse the gear box oil is fresh and at the correct level when hot and cold ? Any help or advice would be greatfuly received many thanks
