Toyota Passenger Front Door Not Locking

Hi all This is my first post so sorry, if I do t include all the information. I have a toyota yaris SR 2007 5 door 1.3 which uses a smart key and I having a problem with the front passenger door. The issue I am having is that the door does not lock at all. Not from the inside and not from the outside. Even the central locking does not lock the door but all other doors lock fine. Would anyone know/ experience the same problem, what the issue might be and how I can resolve it. Thanks in advance Michael
