Battery Clamp - Urgent Reply Please

Hi all

Had a service at my local dealer and the Battery clamp is missing (WTF) anyhow been ringing round local breakers to see if they have rav4's they breaking as don't wish to buy new clamp if I can help it.

Just found one that thinks they have a one from a 53 plate, he said it was a 5 door 2.0 diesel but unsure what model.

Does any one know if it will fit my 07 D-4D XT5?

I suspect that it won't fit without modification. The holder on the 4.3 is different and is bolted at one end to the front crossmember and has only one long threaded rod at the rear of the Battery. There's very little to it so may not be that expensive new - though Toyota spares pricing can often be a mystery!

Did you not ask whoever serviced it what they have done with original? I would want them to replace it at least.

No as they didn't remove it, they informed me after the service.

So it wasn't there in the first place

The last time I had to order a set the price was not too bad, perhaps give Partsking a PM and see what the latest prices are.
