Just upgraded from a 2008 model.

Does anyone know how to:

Change 12 hr to 24 hr on clock.

Change Celcius to Fahrenheit

Change miles to kilometres

Can't for the life of me work it out. It was easy on the old car!

Thanks in advance...

Surely this will be in your Owners Manual.

Looked all through the Touch & Go and car manuals, and couldn't find anything.

The nav unit has a 'unit of measurement' option. If I change it to kilometres, only the nav units change. However, they always change back to miles again the next time I turn on the car.

As you have found, as a UK spec RHD drive car the navigation can altered to kilometre but this has to be set on every trip, as for the rest in the instrument panel it is not an option you cannot set it to a 24 hour clock, to read in litres/kilometre or fahrenheit as it built with only UK measurements programmed into the display logic.

On your 2008 with the central 1980's style 3D dash you could switch the dash over to Continental readings but this was dropped when the cluster was redesigned to include more conventional dials in 2010.

This sort of reply always amazes me.

Why bother having a forum if people just say read the manual or google it?

Don't you like discussion on a topic?

That reply was not helpful.

I'd love to ask the question "What does the flashing ring around the R on the display mean when I am reversing" but I wont because of replies like yours.

Things MAY be in the manual but not usually where you expect them and other people might already know the answer. No one is expecting you to read the manual for them. If you KNOW the answer then reply if you don't then why bother?

Thanks for the answer Devon Aygo.

With regard to the temperature, I kind of forgive them since Fahrenheit is only really used in the US nowadays.

As for 24 hr clock, how they can leave this out (or not have it as default) baffles me. Only the US use 12 hr clock as the norm, so lumping us Brits in with the American settings seems strange.

When you actually read the original post, the OP doesn't say whether or not they have read the owner's manual.

One would assume they have, but assumption can be misplaced - and it is surprising how many people raise queries without checking manuals. etc.

It wasn't until post 3 where the OP stated they had looked through the Touch & Go and owner's manuals - so my post was helpful in obtaining more information on what had been done.

It would be more useful if you read and digested topics more thoroughly, before you question the replies of others.
