Clutch Travel Mk1 Urgent

Hi guys just been to see a mk1 yaris clutch travel was just a few inches how many exactly i am not sure it test drove fine should i be concerned ?

Son's 1.0 Yaris had minimal clutch travel when he bought it 4 years ago. Some 40k miles later, it still had.. 130k miles on original clutch.

If it works, does not slip, does not judder.. then it's probably OK...

What are you comparing it to/expecting? The Yaris has a very short-travel clutch compared to e.g. Ford Fiesta/Audi A3.

Personally I like it as I can push the clutch all the way in with my ankle, whereas on longer clutches I have to use my whole leg or only push the clutch in partially. Makes for quicker shifts :naughty:

I must admit it's spoilt me; Find it hard to get used to the longer travel clutch in other cars...
