How Do I Program Verso Options

My doors lock when I drive off and I am happy with this but they don't open when I stop the car and select 'P' on the gear stick. Apparently this function is disabled by default and needs enabling to work. Obviously the main stealer can do this for a fee but can I do it myself or can I buy a lead to do it myself.
