is the gearbox on a 2001 diesel the same as a petrol as i have the jumping out of 5th prob .also where in the uk is the best place to order parts from and where to look up part numbers sorry for so many questions as new to these cars

Replacing 5th gear has been covered extensively on this forum - use the search function. This included step by step instructions for the job and the parts required list.

just done the fix 5th gear on the diesel has 41 teeth part no:33336-42020 thanks to steve at lindop bros Toyota for getting the parts :cheers:
