Question About Radio Security Code

Hi

Radio gone bump and I need to get another after a struggle getting the old one out-like most things it is easy once you have done it!

Car is 03 1,8 older model and lots of S/H ones around but some say uncoded and others say coded but lost code. When I have had the Battery disconnected the display has never asked me for a code so as far as I am aware there is no code on the system but i am concerned that if I get a s/h radio it will demand a code I do not have and I am not keen to fork out to get this resolved as codes are a waste of time as far as I am concerned, at least on old cards like mine.

So is another radio/cd unit likely to demand a code and how do i even access a code-as always any advice welcomed on this.

Most do not use them, but you could go to the suppliers web site to get the code if required.
