there is a switch on the indicator stick to operate the rear wiper, you could use that to trigger your boot open if you get rid of your rear wiper.

Rob, I seem to remember the S2000's windows open like lightning also! maybe it's a honda thing !

ok in honesty i have fitted a solenoid in the bootlid which i can activate from both a button on the centre console and off of my alarm fob
