Avensis Verso 2.0 D-4D Tuning Question

Hi all, :cowboy:

I have a 2004 Toyota Avensis Verso with 2.0 D-4D (1CD-FTV engine) and I want so more "juice" out of it. The output of that engine isn´t really the top of it´s class, 116 hp, and wanted it to kick a little better and if possible, with less consumption as well.

I installed a drakebox 2 into it and it is performing quite well, axcept the check engine light keeps coming up now and then. I ha ve read the codes with my own Autocom CDP+ and it is always the P0087 (commonrail pressure too low).

Found out that if You stick one of these boxes into toyotas, You will most usually end up with that check engine light on situation. Some have said that I should modify the pressure sensor by adding a shim to the pressure sensor´s spring so tha it would be a little stiffer, allowing to boost more fuel into the rail.

Does any one have ever had similar experiences? Have some one done this ? I would really appriciate any info regarding this "make-over" because I would like to get rid off that light from illuminating from time to time..

Or is the only option getting this box of from my car? :bangin:

Thank You for ANY info regerding this issue!! :D
