Replacement Radio?

I'm thinking about replacing the standard radio in my aygo (mainly for a love of gimmicks  :) ), but I have a few questions:

1. Is it really worth it? Are there any major features that would be gained with a new stereo, as well as the impending doom of DAB radio?

2. Will it affect the bluetooth system? (I have an Aygo blue, I think it was standard)

3. How will it look? I don't want to butcher the interior of my pride and joy :)

Thanks for any help

John

it is all down to what you want ,back in 1999 i wanted the bells and whistles in my car and bought this

6.5" motorised touchscreen tv ,video system, playstation compatible with a multiplay cd,a 10gb mp3 player running a couple of amps and 10 Speakers and it all fitted inside a single din stereo ,when not in use it had a plain black front that would blend into any car and not stand out.

as you can see from the images its so discreet,

with regards to your bluetooth i feel a lot of audio headunits will have bluetooth as standard so i wouldn't be concerned about that .

you dont need to butcher your car to get the new stereo to fit as you can buy a fascia adapter to go in place of the factory fitted stereo and you can buy an adapter for the wiring if necessary so there is no chopping of cables

Thats roughly what I thought, thanks for the input

The switchover to DAB radio was postponed indefinitely in December 2013 - http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/154484-dab-radio-switchover-postponed-indefinitely/

That's good news, DAB radio seems terrible at the moment, and would be expensive for everyone to buy new radios for their cars (like I'm considering...)

Hello.

I´m going to change my Aygo radio to a cd/mp3 player radio. Do you know if i need to change any wires/connections? I´ve seen some videos how to take of the radio but I didn´t found videos explaining how to install the new one.

Thank you,
